Ya doesn't happen too often....although she usually goes back to FL for a few weeks. Looks like it's not going to happen this year because of a new job though.

The situation sounds good to me. I've got two kids; one reaches 5 in May and the other reaches 1 in July. One is kind of self sufficient and the other goes to school. >_>

I love my kids dearly, but I want them to grow up a little bit faster...

Actually I have 3 kids, and the trade is get to go to Tahoe and go snowboarding with my friends on an upcoming weekend.

As to taking care of my kids by myself...not really and more stressful. My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 7 so they are pretty self sufficient. The stressful part is making sure they are at their appointed activities at the appointed time.
