HELP-Item requires campaign of carnage? but I'm playing it!

So I just bought the add on content pack, installed it and started playing. When I got to the flyboy quest where I got to steal the cargo from the buzzards it says I cant pick up the quest items because it requires campaign of carnage. I also can't use any of the weapons from pirates booty or pick up any tourge tokens. So I took it to my cousins (who actually has internet) And bought HAmmerlocks hunt, the game didn't update, I installed the latest compatibility hack, and I still cant use any of the items or continue campaing of carnage.

Help

ps: I also tried reinstaling everything while I was offline at my house and installing it again, still nothing.

My friend and I are having a similar issue. We are trying to get into the arena and it says one or more players do not have the dlc.?!?!?! I'm stumped I've tried the same thing deleting and re installing but no luck so far.
