What I really want to know is, does anybody else feel a bit of shame in parting with their level 50 oranges while they are leveling up to 61 now? It's just so difficult for me to sell these things I've been with for so long! --- My first console was a colecovision, so yeah! http://360voice.gamerdna.com/tag/xLONGNUTTSx

Naa dude. I hosted a big drop party and threw virtually every item in my vault all over Sanctuary and let people have it.
Still gotta do this same thing for Maya and Axton. :D --- What is a man?! A miserable little pile of secrets!
I know that was patched, I only quit playing BL2 to beat Tomb Raider and Bioshock infinite, now I'm back.

Early on I used to sell oranges that I outgrew, but when I started new characters, I saved the oranges on mules. Now I save almost everything I want to pass on or that could be useful to a second player profile. When I level guys up, I load that second profile, see what they're holding and it's like shopping for free guns and gear. Does get a bit tedious doing item maintenance, getting eridium for the mules, but saving/twinking quality gear is better than hoping for decent loot during gameplay. --- It's raining luggage and babies and limbs and Daddy doesn't come home.
I have a 50 of every character and I don't see the point in more than one of each since respecs are pretty much free.
So while that idea is good, useless on my end.
I have a level 12 mule that holds a bunch of 50 oranges as well so when the new dude comes out I can still trade to him. --- My first console was a colecovision, so yeah! http://360voice.gamerdna.com/tag/xLONGNUTTSx

What idea exactly? Just said that I have a profile for player 2 that's only mules.. As I've seen suggested on this board, it's much faster to switch stuff around than Claptrap's stash. --- It's raining luggage and babies and limbs and Daddy doesn't come home.
