Vid in OP was taken down.

Since that PAX gameplay video, I've been wondering what benefits there are of being on fire.

So this is what I'm gathering of the On Fire bonuses from the Hellborn tree, at 5/5:

+ 75% Burn damage (on top of a flat +35% when not ignited)
+ 200% Elemental Effect Chance (assuming it goes in increments of 40)
+ 50 % Damage reduction
+ 50% Weapon and Melee damage (on top of flat +25%)
- 50% Critical Hit damage (on top of flat -25%) *
+ 50% Accuracy
+ 35% Reload Speed
+ the Impaler-like effect only it's fireballs that explode (so fire and/or explosive damage?)

Sounds pretty good on paper but I'd want to see how Krieg deals with Burn DoT.

Elemental Empathy

Chances are with all that going on everything moving will be on fire. If he actually takes damage from being on fire that may out pace the DoT.
