Too bad. I found a level 57 Skullmasher in the Treasure Room earlier. It's probably worthless :c

I wouldn't say ENTIRELY useless if they're slagged first.

Classic, surprise attack sniping is pretty much useless, sadly. Even with the Trespasser that bypasses shields, I still cant drop guys in a single headshot, not even the runt enemies.

The only Sniper Rifle Ive been able to get back to surprise attack kills (without having to alert everyone by slagging someone) is the TumTum Hawkeye, coupled with my Bee Shield, and buffed by a 33% damage relic, and buffed by my +6 Reaper mod.

I get around 6.5 mil headshots without slag, and when things get smurfy, I get 19.7 million with slag.

All the rest of them just take so many headshots to put them down and honestly, Im not the best shot with a rifle. Even when they are thoughlocked, or distracted by a Zer0 hologram, they still move very erraticly and I miss a lot of headshots.

Actually, I had no problem sniping solo in utvh mode. Even used A WD and Bee level 50 all the way until I got to the final mission. Then again I only did the main story line.

Ruin helps a ton because it slags and picks up the enemies so that it is an easy headshot. Plus as mentioned above, Reaper skill adds a ton of damage too.

Why not ruin/scorn suspension PL instead of TL? ^

I think the point was that it shouldn't take 2 to 5 headshots to kill a man. The video you show is very good sniping, but several enemies are taking too many shots to down.

Still, really good vid. Subbed.

Effective, but looks pretty boring imo.

Sniping is only effective if youre employing a bee shield in UVHM. Without it, you can forget it.

Bottom line, if your weapon or tactic REQUIRES the bee shield to become viable, its crap.

I run a ton of other weapons using shields like the Evolution, Sham, Black Hole, etc.. and I can run SPSP in half the time, because I dont need to protect that full bee shield number.

Its ridiculous that an entire tactic for the game is reduced to trash without the acquisition of one piece of gear.

You'd be right if this was CoD. Sadly it's not and head shots are just a crit spot not instant death due to psuedo realistic eelements.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.
