I'd like more shields in the next dlc.

Pretty much. The Hoplite already does that. Took me down to about 20K when I put it on.

I didn't say it would lower max health. That misses the entire point of a health-based roughrider counterpart. I said it would stop your health from going past 25% of it's total value. In other words, if you had 100k health and equipped the shield, your max health would stay at 100k, but your health bar couldn't go past 25k. This would still allow skills that require low health to kick in, and is completely different than turtle shields.

And I didn't know about the Black Hole shield, lol. Learn something new every day. I guess I'd want a singularity shield that has no nova but instead has a stronger pull.

Actually what would be more useful is a wider assortment of Class Mods. Maybe even new legendary mods that focus on 1 tree instead of spread like the current ones are.

Well i'd actually prefer a reverse singularity shield with absorb chance tbh.

Something similar to the Rose on BO1 with health regen, that heals a good amount of health when your shield is depleted (has to be fully recharged for the effect to occur) ... probably also adaptive.

A shield that grants permanent health, action skill and ammo regeneration.

Reverse Maylay shield ... basically a bee for melee chars

A shield that increases all damage types depending on how low your health/shield is ... reaches maximum when shield is depleted and you're almost dead ... also max dmg in FFYL

A shield that spits out lighning balls when hit similar to stormfront grenades (can come in all elements) as well as regular shield/health boosters.

A shield focused on sniper gameplay ... drastically increasing crit.chance, dmg and accuracy of sniper rifles, and reducing recoil ... also generates health orbs when enemies are killed with sniper rifles.
