besides, once i started doing the shamfleet thing on gaige, i got bored in about 3 hours of playtime

So in a thread based on your favourite character and build, why would you go ahead and post a build that you end up getting bored with in about 3 hours of play time?

Non anarchy gaige with a cooldown relic, cooldown mod, literally not a single point in anarchy, and an impaler shield.

i run this build for my pistol zer0. i use a blue disturbed stalker COM (Damn you GBX for not giving us a legendary stalker COM!!!). the COM gives +6 to rising shot and +5 to followthrough. increased pistol fire rate and mag size as well as increased shield recharge rate.

i also carry a legendary sniper COM. the skills it hits are pretty interchangeable, so its easy t switch back and forth if you are in a situation where you will benefit from stronger sniping.

i use a sheriffs badge for my relic. more pistol fire rate and increased pistol damage.

as for gear, this build is flat out made for vladof pistols. the stinger, anarchists, TMPs, (everyones favorite) infinity. doesnt matter, they all work well. they all rip things to pieces.

with 11/5 rising shot, you will get +%110 damage per shot when at 5 stacks. you will get to 5 stacks almost instantly and stay there until everything is dead. so long as you keep shooting things. throw in even more damage from 10/5 followthrough and you put out some solid damage.

we all know how good b0re is. slag singularity a group and fire away. the group will drop in seconds. even more brutal if you score crits and death mark everyone

does well with snipers as well without being totally dedicated to them. also does well with shotguns. the striker is a particular favorite of mine.

i dont really need to get into all the specifics. its a nice versatile build that does very well at all levels. got to assassins to OP8 using this build.

recommended gear

vladof pistols - (stinger is a favorite due to multiple bores from bouncing projectiles) infinity is also a good choice. gets a nice boost from OSOK, and saves you pistol ammo for other weapons. i often use one as an SMG substitute.
hornet (goodbye anything with a yellow health bar)
white death.
slag evis rbi or grog - works well with killing blow. really powerful skill even on a non melee character. used more often though for slagging and kunai healing.
pimpernel (even without being dedicated, sniping is still damn effective)
harold (boring, but effective)
shield doesnt matter much. whatever you prefer. im a big fan of the antagonist

just a solid fun build. while it doesnt have the raw power of a pure sniper zer0, IMO versatility brings fun. i can be effective at any range. use a wide range of different gun, and survive pretty well. probably leaving some things out, but thats it for now

This makes me want to load up my zero and try this build. Thanks Argyle Gargoyle. Now, for the builds posted so far, anyone feel like rating them?

This might have been my build but it's been a few months since I last played. Axton was equipped with Torgue weapons and.... I don't remember what kind of relic or shield he has. =/

My Axton build:
(I haven't actually gotten my commando to lvl 72 yet but this is the build I will use)

I currently use an absorb shield and corrosive guns, as well as singularity grenades to pull enemies together so the turrets can destroy them. Ideally I'd use a Quasar, but I don't have one. :(

Here's my Axton:

I alternate between Legendary Soldier and Legendary Engineer COMs. I play a long-distance style, lobbing my turrets into sticky areas via Longbow, while supporting them with sniping and grenades. I've been toying with an explosive/Tediore-reload build, but i have more fun overall with this one. Solo-play only, i should add.

I have one question about the Zero builds, though. People seem to favor Fearless over Counterstrike, and I was wondering why. I feel like my shields are never down long enough for it to make a difference, and I'd rather go into Deception to give them time to regenerate anyway...

it functions in FFYL as well as when the shields are down. so basically you shoot faster and hit harder when you need it the most. it is quite helpful in getting back up. especially when you are solo and dont have anyone around to revive you.

Zer0 level 72 non-OP build. Non-melee, but the rest of my leftover skill points put into the melee tree. Any suggestions welcome.
