Step by Step how to farm Warrior?

I have searched but couldn't find exactly how to do it. Is there a certain point you can exit out and still keep guns but not get quest completion?

Do you SS and have player 2 grab loot and Player 1 XMB > quit?
Thanks

I'm confused. Why do you not want to finish the quest?

Oh, in that case. Finish the quest, otherwise you're on playthrough 2 and not 2.5 and he won't drop the level 50 gear. Once you finish the quest, just quit to the main menu and hit continue. You'll spawn just before the Warrior's arena. Kill him, and rinse and repeat. ALL bosses respawn every time you reload your game.

Don't finish the quest. Go into the fight alone on story mode (if you do it in public online someone will mess it up). Kill jack, kill the warrior.

At this point you will be told to "call in the moonshot" to finish killing the warrior. At this point DO NOT do it, but instead save and quit.

Go to ps3 data and save your character data (the one you were just usuing) on a USB or similar.

Then load the file like normal and use a second controller to bring a character into the game. When you load into the vault you will be at the moonshot part again. This time call in the moonshot to kill the boss and loot whatever you want to keep with your second character. Then back out with your second character to save that loot and go back to ps3 data utility and copy that file you earlier backed up back onto your ps3 system. Then do the same steps over and over.

Whoever said you have to beat him in 2.0 so you'll get to 2.5 and get level 50 loot is wrong. Keep story mode active and do it in this manner. I get an orange item about 2/3 of the time and they are all level 50..

i know the warrior responds, but apparently his drop rate with quest active on oranges is about 75%, and its <1% if you kill him afterwards without the quest active.

My plan is to have "main" on PT2.5 and keep a mule on PT2 so i can farm the warrior quest that way.

Thanks

You can also use a couple different usb sticks to do this. Your main character (2.5) and story mode warrior can be the same one, if you wanted.

Just keep the story mode save on a separate usb and your main save on another usb. And load your main save to the ps3 when you want to play 2.5 and overwrite it with the story mode save any time you want to farm.
