moonshot farming

Got my Gaige to the Hero's pass part of TVHM, now I can use my Axton and Gaige to moonshot farm right?

Is it this?

Kill Jack
Kill Warrior
save, bring in 2nd char
call moonshot, loot with 2nd char, save and quit, 1st char quits without saving?

I really hope I don't spoon this up, sucks that this is the best way to get oranges outside of duping.

1 - kill jack + warrior
2 - load second character
3 - with second character summon moonshot
4 - with second character collect loot
5 - save + quit with second character
6 - quit game
7 - rinse and repeat

Just to clarify, stage 6 requires you to quit via XMB, so you go back to the dashboard without saving. If you quit via the normal method (pause/ quit) it won't work

Is loot still scaled to host using this method or to player calling moonshot?

1 - kill jack + warrior
2 - load second character
3 - with second character summon moonshot
4 - with second character collect loot

4-1/2 - (OPTIONAL) with second character kill Jack. If you intend to level up this second character, killing Jack usually yields 79,907 additional XP points, which is more than three times as much as what you get from calling the Moonshot.

5 - save + quit with second character
6 - quit game directly to XMB with main character
7 - rinse and repeat

I did what I put in there as 4-1/2 every single time, and I never had a problem. It just makes leveling up a secondary character go much faster. My main character was Level 50, but even if I sent in a Level 1 mule, all he ever got was Level 50 loot.

Jack's drops range from Level 48-Level 50, but I got a couple of really good Level 50 Elemental Relics from him.

if you kill jack when he's kneeling doesn't it save player 1's game? so your optionnal trick only works once?

Question: Is there a reason to wait until warrior and Jack are dead to bring in the second character? It seems bringing them in before the loot drops would be better because the loot is better with more people? Just curious.

When you bring in second character it saves for everyone in the game.
