Could a binary Rubi be made with the explosive element? And what about any smg's or AR's like a Swift Blaster or Swift Shreddifier? --- PSN = russellbald

Only weapons that have an element by default can be explosive and still stick in your backpack.
If it has a normal version then the short answer is no.
Also with regards to e-techs only some of them become explosive. Normally removing the element will create a magenta colored projectile. But if that e-tech was supposed to have an element, then it becomes an eridium explosion.
The yellow jacket and plasma casters tend to do these explosions when their element is removed. Blasters on the other hand will only shoot the magenta colored energy. --- PSN : Double991 I will kill anything and everything in your game because I am overpowered and cannot be nerfed...I also breach integrity's!

Explosive Slagga sounds pretty delicious --- Lv61 Zero build: http://www.bl2skills.com/assassin.html#000000000055053105015505515401
The reason I brought it up is because I'm unretiring an old favorite, Torgue Maya. She likes to blow stuff up.
After I posted this I remembered I had an old vault of about 15 modded weapons. Inside I found explosive versions of the binary rubi, binary little evie, norfleet, topneaa and hellfire. Also a slag quasar lol. --- PSN = russellbald
