So, which manufacturers haven't made themselves look like villains yet?

SPOILERS FOR THIS GAME AND THE FIRST ONE!

So, I just got to thinking, which of the Manufacturers still have the capability of being good guys in the player's eyes, and which have already made themselves look like giant asses.

I'm doing this all from memory, so if I forgot something, then feel free to correct it, same if I got anything wrong, but...

Atlas: Pretty much the villains of the first game, and responsible for the Crimson Lance, who weren't exactly the nicest people around.
Dahl: Also had a big stake in Pandora, and are pretty much supervillains in the Caustic Caverns.
Bandit: These guys just aren't very nice
Hyperion: Handsome Jack's company, is any further explanation required?
Jakobs: Weren't exactly sympathetic when the people of Jakobs Cove were eradicated by zombies.

Now, this leaves Maliwan, Tediore, Torgue, and Vladof. Am I forgetting anything that made any of those 4 companies out to be jerks? Or are they still neutral to all of us?

Well they sorta became Bandit, at least if I remember right, so they're still around, just under a different name and logo and presumably management.

S&S weapons all looked sporty and fun. They were, like, the AirSoft of Pandora. Hyperion probably gave them a kick-back to get them off Pandora and they accepted 'cuz they don't care. Bandits took over their factories.

Anshin and Pangolin on the shield side of the things also don't really get much lore in the game. Anshin seems to be a medical supplies company of Japanese or Chinese origins judging from the name. Pangolin is a total mystery except for really loving to armor things well like their namesake.

Vladof, Torgue and Tediore are vaguely suspicious in their radio ads but the real odd one out is Maliwan, their radio ad is by far the most normal of the bunch... Too normal for a company that's main claim to fame is making guns that melt people's faces off.

While only vaguely on topic, Caustic caverns makes me thing the Dahl corporation wouldn't be out of places as the bad guys of the next game. If they want to stick with corporations being the antagonists anyway.

They're responsible for a lot more than Caustic Caverns. They're the entire reason Pandora is full of bandits. They imported prison labor for their mining operation on Pandora and high-tailed it when all the wildlife came out of hibernation, leaving all the criminals behind to become bandits, as well as leaving behind all their research teams (including Tannis) to be brutally killed by either the wildlife or the bandits.
