I will make/modify items and weapons for you

Hey all.

So, I've got a fairly intimate knowledge of the save structure and item data now, and we have tools to manipulate them, however, at the moment they are very beta and not user friendly.

Now before everyone goes bat**** crazy about "ONOS lolhaxed" items, just a little note that they've taken precautions this time around, so there will be no "lol 2 bajillion k damage" guns or invincibility shields anymore. The generation of items becomes much less varied at higher rarity levels. As far as I've seen so far, you can't say, take a Vladof Infinity barrel and throw it onto a basic white pistol without the game getting angry and just flat-out deleting the item on load.

Not only will this help you, but it'll help me test the limits of the item generation system in general as well.

PS: To those who I know are going to come in here and get all whiny about cheating: I really don't care. Some people don't consider farming a boss for 20 hours for one drop fun, and I don't care what your opinion of fun is either, whether it's playing legitimately or not.

I actually appreciate your ideals and i wish you all the best.. I do not think i can be much help as im not even done 1st playthrough yet but when I do beat PT2.5 i will get back to you heh.

Something like this could theoretically be cool, so long as you can modify the guns so that they're balanced. If you can add in a few more unique type weapons that are randomly generated within the world, that would be cool. Or add a few more unique drops from certain mobs/bosses. It could be a nice way to mod the game without breaking it.

Between 1-3 types of ammo can be increased, can customize the ammo type and increase percentage up to a max of 70%.

Oh crap, this is finally happening.

Shame it's limited like post-patch BL1, though. No more floating guns that unloaded a full 100 ammo clip while zoomed in, dealing incredible shock damage, and other such bull****. But, hey, something is better than nothing.

Making stupid guns was one of my favorite things to do after I beat the first Borderlands. Great to hear that I'll be able to do it again to some extent here.

To clarify, this is me literally giving you items/weapons to your specification, or you giving me something you already have and telling me what you want changed. There is no actual manipulation of the game files or anything (besides the save file, obviously).

just wondering, can you tell me what the max amounts of damage/reload bonus on weapon manufacturer/allegiance relics? mostly for jakobs/hyperion/vladof

Someone asked, so here is "The Bee" Shield I made aimed for damage output:

The way the parts work means that you need to decide which stat you want the shield to prioritize. There is no "best" combination that will make all the stats high without sacrificing something in return.
