It's definitely going to depend on what you have already. By the time I did the DLCs I had a lot of pretty good legendaries so they weren't as good.

I think the Seraph gear is meant to be between legendary items and the usual purple items. Kinda a stepping stone to legendaries if you have bad luck with the RNG.

This is the approach I take. Oranges are better because they're rare. You are guaranteed to get Seraph weapons any time you have the currency for them.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that, but at the same time it seems to take longer to farm for seraph crystals thanks to the 24 hours restriction than it takes to farm for Oranges.
