Psycho build suggestion?

#1Legenday_ChaserPosted 7/25/2013 5:13:48 PM
I've been considering making a Psycho as a side project when I'm not playing on my Zer0 with friends. Can anyone suggest any builds? been considering one with Bloodlust and Mania, but I'm not sure...

That should be helpful, as I haven't played him much.

Everything you've ever wanted to know about how versatile Krieg can be. I always reach level 50 before checking out any other builds listed on the official forums. If my build is holding me well into UVHM, I don't even look at any for suggestions, but rather to see what people have come up with using the tree I didn't touch. If my build is starting to show signs of aging (like my Gemini build with Axton), then I will consult a few to see how others have allocated their points.

I saw that massive list of guides and honestly felt overwhelmed @_@
And I always feel panicked when games have skill trees since I'm never certain which to go with, especially when they don't have options to reset skill points (luckily this game does). Hmm, guess I'll try to pick one from that list.

Why can't you just make your own build rather than have someone else tell you what will be fun?

I don't understand the panicked or overwhelmed parts either. It's entirely up to you how to play this game and given you can respec at any point, why would you just want to follow a cookie-cutter build? Like I mentioned in the other thread linked in the second post, skills hardly matter prior to level 25 and by 31 you should know which tree you want to max first.

I just like having a sort of structure when I play games with skill trees. Makes it easier for me. Years of playing games like Maplestory, Elsword, PSO2, etc where they have trees and branches have made me hesitant to just do "anything." Plus I like dealing a lot of damage and like builds that help provide that.

EDIT: Also, is Light the Fuse worth getting? or even worth using... Saw it in all the pre-release videos with the devs and it looked cool, but almost no builds use it

I found that Light the Fuse didn't do enough damage to get me second winds in PT2+.

Haven't tried Light the Fuse in PT2 yet, but in PT1 it was pretty great, if only for the mobility. Then again, I had my explosive damage boosted up so high that it really only took one throw on most enemies to come back. On a side note it's kind of funny that, once I decided to change away from a crunch to a slab mod, I hardly ever even dropped into LTF/FFYL in the first place. >_>

Personally, I'd say it's worth trying out at least once. Whether or not you keep it is up to you.

Are you suggesting that moon should get off his ass and write some stories? He's like the Stephen King of gamefaqs. - Sorbz

I don;t think it'd be useful in UVHM since the enemies have so much health in that. But the mobility is very good. Only problem is most teammates see a moving teammate and they won't try to rez you which i found to be very annoying.
