Anyone else think Disgaea should stay portable?

110% agree, it is just better on portables.

Being able to pause and put the game into your pocket, the graphics are the same, if not better/more crisp because of the smaller screen.

It just way more fun to hold I guess xD

Here's hoping some Disgaea games come out for the 3DS as well. I'm sure it can at least run the first two.

RPGs that require grinding are always better on handheld.

Played the first game for 150-odd hours when I got it on my PSP, was the first game in the series I played, got 2 & 3 afterward for consoles, got a combined total of maybe 70 hours, just struggle to play any game like this on a TV for any length of time, whereas sitting watching tv while mindlessly grinding stopped me getting bored before I got chance to polish the game off!

No it's fine the way it is now, no reason to keep it from consoles. Besides handheld gets the better version anyway when it's releases for cheaper plus all the content and more than what is on the console, if it was portable only then you would have to buy all that extra over time (no thanks)

I'm all for playing it anytime anywhere. Grinding is a drag when I'm taking up the tv, when I could be watching netflix as I grind to level 6000 7+ times in a row.

I never played them on the consoles, although I did buy Disgaea 4, but haven't touched it since I want to beat this one first. I would like them to stay all portable, they seem more convenient.
But, IronMonkey raises a good point, lol
