Maybe if it sells really well, but even then I doubt they'll make DLC.

IMO, it is fairly safe to say MK Vita will not have any DLC

You have to take into account the fact that any more DLC will ruin the whole "Komplete Kollection" thing on the consoles. MK is a tournament fighter, so Vita-specific DLC wouldn't make a whole lot of sense if it wasn't also for the consoles. When you call something the Komplete Kollection, that means it contains every DLC there is and implies no more will be made.

This isn't Capcom we're talking about, after all, so most of the time, companies follow the rules in this regard.

^This, also unlike capcom had GOOD dlc. not crap overpriced dlc. If any DLC is to be added it would be something like more challenges to the challenge tower which is also very highly unlikely

Mmmmmeh....yeah, the mk dlc was great, but on the consoles...come on, they charged like 5 bucks per dlc character =(

$5 per character for Day One DLC deliberately omitted from the disk is good DLC?

You DO know that on the 360, when Rain was first made available, he displayed a release date of two weeks BEFORE you could actually buy the game, right? (They pulled the content within five minutes to "redate" it, of course.)

Honestly, I can't really fault them for it - they're just following the spirit of Mortal Kombat. Twenty years ago, people spent extra money convinced that Kano and Sonya were hiding in MK II and were playable. Present day, people spend extra money to buy characters, convincing themselves that it's "okay" because they were "made after the game came out."

Sorry, but I stopped falling for Ed Boon's smoke-and-mirror lies years ago.

On topic - no more DLC for this game unless they also release it for all the console versions. It'd be moronic to unnecessarily limit the sales market. (That's why people like "Tremor" weren't made into full-fledged characters for this version. Why bother, when he can be used in MK 10 to drum up sales for people who care?)

Yeah, but I could see some dlc being vita exclusive...just because the character models are less complex, they'd take less effort and time to add to the vita than the consoles.

Tell that to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Their extra characters are $7.99 EACH, and we're talking about a $30 game you could easily get for $15. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is that they have no story or arcade mode of their own, and are literally just versus characters. You can use them ONLY in versus, either in local or online. No arcade, no story, no score attack, nothing else. Only recently when the ripoff EXTEND version came out did they get any kind of story mode added. But EXTEND is a ripoff for almost everyone, unless you got absolutely no DLC for Continuum Shift or passed on the handheld-only Continuum Shift II, which was just CS with all the DLC. EXTEND added story modes.

Even Mortal Kombat gave its DLC characters a freaking arcade mode.
