Just only found out about this game. Eye of the Beholder series was awesome and this looks like they've taken all the best bits and made a great game the likes that I thought were dead or resigned to DOSBox.

I still remember the despair of trying to find my way out of the maze in EOTB2 with poison ants attacking me at every turn. Will have to break out the grid paper again and get ready to make some maps old school style.

Can't wait to start out and work my way up out of the dungeons and into the sunlight!

Yep, pre-ordering, too. The Eye of the Beholder series were the games that sucked me into gaming.

When I was Hell King we used to feed on the souls of gluttons. It was like murder marinated in sin. It was bliss.

I just pre-ordered too. 12 bucks is a great price.

I've just preordered it and posted a topic about it on the Wizardy 8 board.

Spread the word, with some luck we might bring back the genre.

Next up is space exploration....

Might be fun but there's no way I'll ever pay a monthly fee to play a game...

Anyway I was thinking of a game like Freelancer...
