So how bad are the glitches/bugs in this version?

This. Vita has 3 save slots and no corruption of saves. No brainer here.

33 hours, 100% complete, no crashes, bugs, save corruption, etc. Any issues with the 3DS version are blown completely out of proportion. Go with whichever one you want.

25 hrs in. Multiple endings. Never saved during puzzles.
I happened to save on an ending. Data corruption.
Time to restart. The game is that good.
