this is one of the best examples of a remake. Compare any of the versions FFIV to the DS version. they had to make new assets for the game. Pokemon HG/SS are ones too.

if the developers (more likely the Publisher) slapped the remake label but the only major thing was a graphic's bump, then they are ******** WRONG.

speaking on ports and remakes....

learning the some gaming history of Ys helps with the remake/ports mess-up
kind hard to pick out the remakes and enhanced ports out of 11 Ys 1s
