Is Persona 4 ridiculously hard?

Like can I get stuck and forced to start the game over. I heard you had a limited amount of time to grind because of the games calender system. Is that true?

It's not that hard at all.
You can grind all you want in the dungeons, time doesn't advance in there.
If you get the Hermit S.Link, you can restore your HP/SP so you don't have to leave.

It's ridiculuously hard, but not in the way you pointed out.

You do have limited time on the calendar system, but time does not pass until you do certain activities, and grinding isn't one of them.

Grinding can be one of them. I mean, it's an option. In fact, your friends constantly call you and are like "Hey, let's grind today." And it always passes time.

Unless you don't know how to make the most out of switching personas, this game stops being hard after the 2nd dungeon. Sure you will get the occasional game overs still and the boss fights will still put up a challenge, but it becomes memorizing weaknesses and knowing the patterns of the boss and preparing for the fight.

Besides the first 2 dungeons; no, it's not. P3 is harder. Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga are even harder.

Only the first boss of the first dungeon is challenging, otherwise you should have no problem with the game beyond it bull****ting you out of progress here and there.

As long as you think of some strategy, no it's not hard at all. Even hard mode is pretty much a breeze if you know what you're doing.

Abuse the "one more" abuse dizzy, re dizzy (cancels enemies turns after they recover), this game is a breeze. Nocturne was definitely imo the hardest SMT game on the hardest difficulty. I still have yet to fully beat it.
