than i remembered. Yosuke and Chie are seriously the worst, Yukiko is just bland, Rise used to be my favorite but her anime form is annoying. Kanji is the only one i can tolerate.

Well Yosuke actually makes a bit of sense if you think about it.

In the game Yosuke had essentially two types of lines. Lines that had to be spoken by someone since Yu doesn't talk (these were his serious lines actually contemplating the investigation)

And then he had lines that do I put this? In character for Yosuke.

But since in the anime, Yu DOES talk now, Yosuke doesn't have any need to say lines in the former category, which leaves stuff in the latter category which can...well...make him come across as more useless and unlikeable.

That's my theory on it anyway, I've still only watched one episode of the anime. But I've heard this concern about Yosuke being more unlikeable in the anime quite a few times.

She's exactly the same. She's just as dull and unlikeable as she was in the game. The only difference is now they're in an actual anime where they belong.

No matter what's said about Persona 4: The Animation, I can never summon the will to watch it. Whether it's that the scenes are incredibly funny, or that Yu is meaner to Yosuke, or that the fight/shadow scenes are awesome. Nothing ever compels me to want to see it. I saw the first episode, let out one big "meh" and could never find the will to sit down and watch another episode, even when I have nothing better to do. Oh well, I'll just go back to not posting in P4A topics.

Don't do it, they gave the one chick from Aya's more attention in some awful chase scene and that's essentially where I said "Okay, I'm done."

Aika (the chick from the chinese restaurant) currently holds the trophy for "Strain42's Favorite Persona 4: Anime Character"

...though that's not really saying much since I think she's one of the only new characters invented for the series.

Eh, I used to watch it every week but I stopped recently. It's not bad (It's about a 5 out of 10) but there's just so many better anime that came out in 2011 and some of the new series starting this year, namely Nisemonogatari, have just been so fantastic to the point where P4A is just no longer a priority.

I'm surprised I even got to episode 11 of P4A tbh.

I got enough tolerance for the whole thing.

I watched way worse.

I'm invested simply BECAUSE it's Persona 4.

Also, the anime basically confirming a YuxChie relationship as of episode 15 makes me a very happy person. Was getting tired of all the YosukexChie pairings when they made no sense.
