English dub of anime to have original english actors, but none knew about it

None of them knew. It was announced the english dub would be the proper game voice actors/actresses, and NONE OF THEM KNEW THIS!

That's definitely a downer for P4G because it probably means they;ve definitely not started english work for it. :(

... You DO realize that like

90% of the voice work for P4G is already done, right?

>_>

I don't care what you say, Generation II sucks.
That's just my opinion, no matter how true it may be.

I would think we'd have an english release date or at least an english RELEASE announced if that were the case.

That's not really how Atlus operates.

You'll get an announcement a few months after the Japanese release, and the release day will be 5-6 months after that.

Would have liked to run tests on the sea shells.

This is a remake/port of a game. 90% of the voicework has already been done.

It'll probably take them all of three hours to record the new lines and way longer to code them in.

Chill out bro.

Oh, so you mean "90% of the voice for the WHOLE GAME is already done" not "90% of the additional voicework is done". Nice. Definitely not misleading or completely irrelevant.

The fact is they didn't even know they were doing the anime. That means it's pretty likely they have no idea if they're doing the game or not. If they haven't started the game, how likely is it they've starte dtranslation of the new content to begin with?

The fact is, not knowing they're doing anything extra for Persona 4 in general is an indicator that Atlus hasn't begun **** towards making this game ready for an english release, despite hte japanese release being only two months away!

These two projects don't actually have anything to do with one another, I'm not sure why you are intent on linking them.

Obviously the same voice cast will be working on both.

You can't have Yosuke being voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in one seen and then all of a sudden he's Samuel L. Jackson (although that WOULD be hilarious).

And I don't see how my initial statement was misleading at all. It very heavily implied, almost outright stated, that all the original voicework was done. There's not a lot that needs to be added, only a a few small and a few big scenes, as well as the one-liners for the new Personas.
