Or is it just me? The OP is very mod-chic, with low-frame repeated animation for the dancing a la Peanuts cartoons, and the subline synth of the new battle theme is very 70s surfer groovy. Mopeds are also distinctly retro as well. Fits well with the retro TVs used throughout the game, Chie's outfit, and 70s style enemy design (the psychedelic Rolling Stones tongues and Voltron enemies spring to mind).
Creates a much better contrast with P3's modern style than the original and seems more in line with what they were originally going for, IMO.

Theoretically, based on the aesthetics, yeah, I suppose so.
I wasn't alive during the 70s. That might be relevant to my understanding...

I suppose it does. I mostly got the Japanese Scooby Doo vibe if anything. However, Catherine does give me the 70s vibe although it's in a more modern setting. --- "Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories."

What is a '70's vibe' exactly? How many people here were actually raised in the 70's?
