Except they aren't demons in P4 unless you count "personal demons" as demons. They are the manifestation of the parts of ourselves that we repress and refuse to accept. They just happen to take on a monstrous form when they are rejected.

At least use P1-P2 as examples. In those games teenagers form pacts with demons.

just because you arent full blown being obvious about it doesnt mean iit doesnt have subtly . manipulation gets someone to do something that you want them to do with them knowing you want them to do that. so if my some power greater than our own demons did exist, and they did look like the things we call personas. then in a sense we are blindly or at least the games message is telling us to name then demon a persona and call it yourself.

I don't remember what game it was, but didn't one of the Persona games actually have a character explain why Personae take the form of gods and creatures from mythology that people know?

thats a fair argument unfortunately this entire scheme of things that I have speculated is simply the spawn of an evil mans thoughts. manipulation needs a manipulator after all. So if someone is evil why not try to spread it?

"Demons" aren't actually big horned winged black monsters, they're our baser, bad, ugly desires and thoughts, personified...or...persoNAfied, in the case of this game.



By being overly simplistic in your analysis and presumptions you fail to perceive the actuality of the situation. These kids actually turn their demons into strength, rather than let them take over. The ones with the demons taking over them aren't them, they're the ones who turn to SHADOWS you idiot! XD
