...wait what, Amazon changed their date?

One obscure seller as seen on this board listed the release date of Golden as October 23rd, and with this date also appearing on Amazon a week or so later, a good portion of the Persona fanbase thought it was pretty much confirmed. It appears that this could be wrong because Amazon appears to have changed the date to October 30th.

So either that date was never official and they're going with that as a placeholder of sorts or that date really was official except AtlusUSA has delayed the game for a week for whatever reason.

I don't believe the game has ever had an official release date. The American website for P4G has always just said fall.

I guess that's true. It was never officially declared to be that date, but with the backing up of Amazon (at the time) of that date, it was assumed that it was the official date.
