You quickly reclaim your box and tell him to keep his dirty hands off of it. Using your hands, you stroke the box, assuring it everything will be okay.

To answer Officer Amada's question, you were simply playing with yourself in the box. Can't a teenager play with himself in private?

Officer Amada coughs and looks at you as if you said something wrong. You ask him what he's doing. He tips his officer's cap and looks at you as if to say, "Isn't it obvious?"

He must be out on patrol or something and Koromaru must be tagging along with him.

If he has the time to bother you, then he must have some downtime. You ask him if he would like to try out your wonderful box of wonderment.

"Didn't you just say to keep my hands off it? Anyways, as much... fun as that sounds, I can't I'm busy. I've got my hands full as is with Koromaru deciding to follow me."

*Bark*

You pick yourself up from the ground and dust your clothes off. You ask him how Mr. Narukami's doing. He shakes his head.

So, it's still not looking good for him, or the world for that matter. Koromaru whimpers, as if he also knows the gravity of the situation.

"Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a girlfriend, would you?"

Unfortunately no... But perhaps things are better that way. Why's he asking?

"Oh, just asking. I was thinking of getting something for someone, but I've never really bought a gift for a lady friend, so I don't know what to do."

He doesn't have to be so secretive about this... You know he's talking about Ms. Yamagishi.

"... In any case, I'll probably figure something out. Do me a favor and take Koromaru home, okay?"

Officer Amada walks off and says goodbye without even waiting for your reply.

You look down to Koromaru, who looks up to you and barks. Looks like the two of you are stuck with each other again.

What should you do?

A) Take him home.
B) Take him to (specify person, place, whatever)
C) Go terrorize the town together.
D) Ignore him and hide in the box.
E) Offer him a turn in the box.

You look at Koromaru who looks at you expectantly. You sigh. You're not good with responsibility... Whatever, no point in whining about it. Better get going. You tell Koromaru to come with you, which he does faithfully. You have no idea where you're taking him, but you might as well get him some exercise. He's looking like he's putting on some weight.

...

You leave your box at home. Despite its awesome companionship, it's troublesome having to lug that thing around. Koromaru meets you outside your apartment and the two of you get going. Again.

It doesn't take long before your feet start to tire. You look up to the sky and find that the sun is almost down. You look back to Koromaru, who doesn't seem to be troubled by anything. Maybe you should just take him ho... Hmm...? Oh, that must be Emi. Or some other painfully shy girl walking alone.

You go up to her and greet her. Once again, you've taken her by surprise and she stammers, "K-Kaito...!"

What is she doing here?

"I-I live around here... So I was just walking h-home..."

Huh, is that right? Well, since Koromaru's place isn't too far away, you and him might as well tag along with her so she doesn't have to go alone.

"No, I'm fine... You can just..."

Nonsense! Let's get going.

Apparently Emi's fears were misplaced and she was allowed to keep the little kitten as long as she was the only one who took care of it. But, that's probably not a problem for Emi. She seems to be really into it. She fed the kitten some cat food and provide Koromaru with some improvised dog food made from various meats.

Emi's uncle isn't home, so Emi told you that you aren't allowed in the house. Whatever, doesn't really matter.

The two of you sit out on the porch, admiring the last few gleams of sunlight before night comes.

You look at Emi, but she doesn't say anything. You figure it wouldn't be Emi if she started the conversation. You sigh.

What should you do?

A) "You know, you can talk to me, I don't bite."
B) "Later."
C) "So, what did you name the little cat?"
D) "..."
E) Other?
