Final Fantasy 12 didn't have bad dialog....just boring characters. Oh, and for the record the dialog in this game is fine, and the only bad VA is Chie's.

12 is one of my favorites, and yes the VA is better. But which has a better story? Also vaan is pointless...

Comparing the va and dialogue to ff12 is stupid. That game had and still has some of the best localisation for a Jpn rpg ever. For what this game is its decent. Only a few va is bad. You have to remember this game has an anime style to it so that standard is what it will be judges against

The VA and dialogue is god-tier for JRPGs..... remember Star Ocean 4, FF13, Resonance of Fate, or pretty much anything this gen?

it's not god tier. Dialogue is what it is, it suits this game and you can't comapre it to others. VA wise i'd put it up there as one of the better JRPG's not the best. And Lost odyssey had great VA apart from like 1 character. FF13 doesn't have bad VA just bad characters. Star ocean has the worst VA for any game ever made.

Really? How so? And I am not trying to argue with you I am just actually curious why you think that, maybe I should give the game another shot.

Dialogue and voice acting is good. Your opinion is wrong. Go away.

Ugh, Star Ocean 4... Edge and his melodrama >_>

The VA AND dialog in P4 is far above average. It has it's moments, like any other, but as a whole it is very well written. The characters are immensely fleshed out, in addition most very well.

I find it to be very realistic. Me and my friends are just as goofy as they are, talking about stuff like "zombie apocalypses" and forming an intricate plan in case it happens, etc. I happen to know people who act exactly like each of most of the characters. It's very relatable for me. Just because you don't see those kinds of people in your life doesn't mean they don't exist.

The game itself can be boring for some. I love FF12 but i can see why so many people hated it. It just wasn't very interesting from a character/story standpoint. For me...it still has one of the best battle systems to ever grace a JRPG. And if we're talking about just the quality of VA then yes FF12 is in a league of it's own. It's actually one of the rare JRPG's that has better english VA than JPN.
