Who do you think is the best party and why? : )

I just use my favorite characters: Yosuke, Yukiko and Teddie.

I'm used to Magic being more important than Physical in MegaTen games. So Yukiko because a) she's my favorite character and b) healing and awesome fire damage. Teddie because he also has high level healing spells and also learns great Kaja spells. Yosuke because Wind, he's fast and he's my second favorite character. And cause I'd totally do him if he were real and gay.


Though I'll admit, instead of super power grinding for the Void Quest boss, I just switched Teddie and Yosuke for Chie and Kanji for that one fight, and then switched them back out afterwards.

first four. seriously screw the rest of the lot but the time they roll around I got a good momentum going. Also Naoto is tacked on and serves no real narrative purpose beyond pointing out what is obvious to everyone. Detective genius my ass

Any party works to be honest, especially with the new s.link /bike skills to further balance characters out. Naoto is actually useful for bosses now for example.

I personally use Yukiko/Kanji/Naoto.

Functionally?

Yukiko Kanji and Naoto. There isn't half a reasonable doubt. They are the best. However, I prefer Yosuke Teddie and Naoto.

Red Mage, a physical attacker that doesn't have an irritating voice and doesn't suck, and a token female and the best healer (not counting the main character)

Their starting lv help a lot on my very hard playthrough (naoto lv55 while MC at lv38 when she join lol)

so judging by these posts is Rise just plain garbage? I've never played the ps2 one so idk
