Persona 4 Golden

I'm finding that after buying books and stocking up on healing items, I only have enough for one new item at a time left.

Should I be worried?

Are you playing on hard? Between chests and spells I havent had to buy any healing items. Are you selling items as well?

I buy them once every two dungeons. Prioritize armor over weapons IMO.

Money is pretty scarce until the last few dungeons. I wouldn't worry about not having enough money early game because it's just kind of a thing that happens.

Nah, not really. Equipment is helpful, but not super important. As you progress through the game, you'll have plenty of chances to find rare armor, exchange gems for special weapons, buy cheap upgrades off the home shopping network, etc.

I always prioritized weapons before armor because IIRC, All-Out-Attack damage is reliant on weapon power. And the majority of the time you always kill everything before they even hit you.

This is what I did in P4, following a similar line of logic.

However, in P4G, you get the free followup attacks from partners (depending on party composition - Chie/Yukiko, Yosuke/Teddie, Kanji/Naoto) plus the occasional massive power boost from Rise. The only thing that survives an all-out attack plus all of the extra help in my experience playing P4G are very tough enemies such as bosses.

Also enemies that are resistant to Almighty damage, since that's the type of damage All-Out Attack does.

Hmm, although I'm using pretty crap weapons right now (for stat bonuses), my AAA always seems to do "Heavy" damage or "Severe" if Rise pitches in. Interesting...

I just check Daidara after I complete a dungeon, then see if there's anything that is that much better than what I already have. If it's stronger but doesn't have an ability or has a worse ability, I skip it. It has to be stronger or nearly as strong with a better ability for me to buy it.

Same with armor.
