Persona 4 Golden
After seeing the Epilogue, I have two things I like to know... (Major Spoilers)

I noticed that they made, or specially Yosuke, mentioned about the events from Persona 4 Arena that happened in May during Golden Week but nothing more was said than it "was crazy last May when you came to visit". I have to say it's nice to know they acknowledge the events of Arena to Golden, but this makes me curious. I know they released Persona 4 Arena BEFORE Persona 4 Golden in the US, but in Japan was Persona 4 Arena released first before Persona 4 Golden or the other way around? I know that it's a fighting game made by Arc System and they take their time making their 2D sprites look phenomenal and the animation just right for the movements and such so I'm curious about that. Do you think they should've added an extra line or two about it? Like saying "well it wasn't all that bad as we got a new friend out of it" or something to that affect, but it's a great nod nonetheless. My second question is directed at Marie after you saved her and after beating Izanami... she mentioned she was a fragment part of the fog monsters who are spawned from Izanami herself and in the end after everything all of the "pieces" came back together as one whole being once again and Marie disappears. She mentioned she is the other "half" or fragment of Izanami that wanted to "protect" humanity and the Izanami the player fights, Izanami-no-Okami, and defeats merged together again to become Izanami-no-Mikoto who is the "true and original" Izanami... which is a little surprising. However seeing as she's Izanami, or Izanami reincarnated as a human, and since the Protagonist has the Izanagi Persona that sort of makes it seem like he's the reincarnated version of Izanagi... and since Mariko Kusumi, former Marie, states she loves the Protagonist (if it's the Lovers route) doesn't that mean that the Protagonist is dating Izanami herself? That's an interesting twist, not that much stories I know that have the main hero and main villainess get together like that. But Marie became the "real" Izanami in the end, right? At the hot springs. (She called down Lighting / thunder on the guys) And in the golden ending, she gave a shout out to YU saying if he wants the weather changed she would change it. But then again Marie isnt mentioned in P4A. But she appears in the Epilogue ending... Plus if it was canon why would she not want to help him out in P4A? seeing how shes a god and all?? To be fair, they had Marie disappear in March and reappear at a later date which the Epilogue takes place in August and they haven't seen her in a while and brought it up... and the whole incident during Persona 4 Arena really wasn't the time to bring Marie up at that point. Though for the rest of my question, Arena was released before Golden in Japan too, right? Oh! And another question... were the party aware that Mariko Kusumi is Marie under a different name or not? I assumed so seeing as she openly says she loves the Protagonist and Rise is quick to react to it (I love how Marie messes with Rise). --- "Invoke...
