NG+ question about levels

Did they carry over the "Reach level 99, stay level 99 in NG+" mechanic from P3P? It made focusing on Social Links really easy in P3P...

Thanks for the swift response, now the only reason to go above 90 is for Lucifer.

Izanagi No Okami as well. Fusing him counts for one of the trophies. He requires you to be at least 91 if you want to fuse him in NG+, if I'm not wrong.

Can you only fuse him in NG+? It was my understanding you could fuse him as long as you maxed all Slinks.

He appears in the True Ending route if you are on your first playthrough, but second playthrough, you can use him for your battles even before you reach the final dungeon as long as you reach 91 and above.

Don't forget that if you register Magatsu Izanagi after going for the true ending on 1st playthru, he will be registered and you can get to use him regardless of level in your NG+.
