Go watch MLP. It'll make P4G look like a safe ride on the bus by comparison.

I'm actually hoping that a P4 musical gets made just so I can see the TC blow his top.

Oh wait, THERE IS.

Why are you comparing a little girls show to a M rated game?

Because Friendship.

A user named bayonetta is whining about perverted otakus... okay

This so much. Bayonetta looks like a game developed by shut-in perverts for shut-in perverts.

Bayonetta I remember your other post where you wanted:

"1. Nudity and sex
2. Team members ages are between 25-30
3. Blood and gore
4. More freedom to do as I wish. If I want to hang out with Sam then sleep with Sarah in 2 hours I should be able to do so without it becoming evening.
5. 3rd person action battle system like Ninja Gaiden 2.
6. The story will be directed by top western teams. Think Inception meets Matrix meets Lord of the Rings. This is something only a western director can pull off.
7. You can have real time dating, sex and get her pregnant.
8. Any Mini games will be done by western devs.
9. Western artist's will help out with the character art."

...I still think you might be playing the wrong game? I wouldn't go to a Mexican restaurant and tell them their food would be better if:

1. Less tortillas, more hamburger buns.
2. Instead of salsa, they should use ketchup and mustard.
3. Rather than shred their beef, they really should grind it. And mash it together into a paddy of some sort?
4. Replace chips and salsa with french fries and ketchup.
5. Redecorate. Replace the southwestern motif with something more modern, like an Apple Store or something.

No. I would go to a f****** hamburger joint instead or enjoy the fact that Mexican food is Mexican food.

Are the japanese girls portrayed in this game too shy, or is the problem that American high school girls are too outwardly slutty? Maybe the devs wanted female characters that would have something else to offer their male friends other than their bodies?

I might probably have something to do with that... I mean, look at the events that occurred in the escapade club, that scene is pure innocence

Then again, it's really weird... seeing how alcohol is some kind of taboo among youngsters, but then you can see yosuke asking MC where does he hide his porn, in a very 'normal' way

Sad how people quickly write **** like Bayonetta_ topic

He makes very good points believe it or not, I agree with everything in here.

Oh please he writes about how his psychology class has helped him learn that this game is wrong because it is "beta-males"

Curious Bayonetta_ What does your psychology class say about your demand/need for Blood/Gore and Sex in a video game?

Can't it be both?

I don't mind the occasional shy character, I loved Chihiro, but this game does have too many girls get flustered and red cheeked over the simplest thing to the point where it's no longer endearing.

This topic is the reason I have basically given up on JRPGs. There are a bunch of Japanese tropes that are used repeatedly in games & anime that I cannot stand. Most of them have to do with relationships and specifically involve female characters.

In fact, the Japanese female characters that I like seem kinda few & afar between because so many of them fall into cliches that I just hate. In fact, my favorite JRPG heroine is probably Chris from Suikoden 3 and, of course, she has no romance in that game despite being a main character.
