I got 2 emails asking why and such. This is why Unless you can tell me that the reasons why the 6 people that have claim this is false/wrong, I'm not going to change it in my FAQ. Plus, I'm also going to ignore all future emails saying that I'm wrong or it's error when clearly they don't know as much. Any suggestions as to how I can reword it to make it so that I'm not making this stuff up? PS. You know... it would be awesome if ATLUS WOULD TELL US THEMSELVES IN THE TROPHY LIST. Seriously... do they enjoy watching us cry and fight like idiots to get this trophy instead of taking small steps to make it more bearable ? I haven't touched P4G in a while now... EDIT: Wait... is there some way to contact an Atlus employee? Because I will definitely ask... --- I like what I like, and I don't need a reason. So don't ask me why I like something. Hmmm, you could try. Even so, I don't ever recall the Trophy List of any game containing tips or any kind. They would only list it as "Multiplayer Only" or something | |

Some guys at the forum said they tested it. Tracked like 230+ lines and start a ng+ trying to get those earlier one they missed, and things did not overlap. But again, nothing substantial imo. While we wait for the final answer we could really try to contact atlus to receive an official position (if it is even possible). | |
I read one comment about someone claiming that they got to 270+ before they got it triggered. The flaw to that is, are they counting the stuff that they shouldn't be? They can list of them all and I can pull out the things that doesn't count towards that trophy. I'll say this again. It has to appear in text for it to count. Those scan lines/quotes don't count. If you want, I can link to that topic or you can find it yourself. Go search the topic including something like "KADFC... this can't be right" or something. | |
I also read this topic too, and i agree with you. I will put a test tonight, if the lines carry over, i must be able to get the trophy only finishing the grind with Naoto/Kanji/Teddie because i did most of the lines for the others in my first playthrough. Once i get an answer i will be back here. Like i said in another topic, i am missing most of element weak/no-good lines, so if the trophy pops only with combat grinding for the aforementioned characters, i would surely bet at the "yes, lines carry over ng+" option. Hey KADFC, after re-tracking my work and when my count was at 167 (maybe 30 lines less than the real valor for the game run) trophy appeared :D. Remember my post? Without carrying data from previously playthrough it would be very that the total numbers of line to reach 250. I am almost sure that navigation line do carry over ng+ now (or maybe this old physicist forgot how to count). I also barely touched Chie/Yukiko/Yosuke in this playthrough and i could note something else, the count goes beyond what we first thought (only for "enemy left" i got 3 diferent lines for 2 and 3 enemies) and i really think that should be 500+ lines, making this trophy very doable now. Again, sorry for any mistake made, i really lack english skills. | |
I have something else that may need to be confirmed. I got this trophy over the weekend on my first playthrough, but it wasn't obtained in battle. By pressing square and talking to Rise with different costumes and talking to other party members sometimes Rise chimes in with a comment. On one of these I got the trophy. I don't know if it was a delay in getting the trophy or if these comments actually count toward the trophy or not. I was overleveled the entire game and did not get nearly as many battle comments for stat decreases and ailments, so it may be worth looking into. | |
