No, just Kanji and Chie, Yosuke stays a wind user and becomes fairly well rounded in boht magic and physicl, while Yukiko stays fire/health. Kanji will eventually get the 3rd-tier lightning attacks, but he's way, way better with physical since his strength stat ends up 3-4 times that of his magic. Chie stops naturally learning ice spells with Bufula (2nd tier, single target) and turns into a physical powerhouse with Power Charge, God's Hand, and Revolution.

You'll use kanji's elec anld chie's ice mostly for knocking down, rather than damage like yukiko's fire.

And also, it's hardly changing their character strategy when the two were physical powerhouse characters from the get-go.
