Answer is totally seperate, you don't need to play Journey to play it.

Just note that if you've only played P3P it's going to be a pretty rough transition. There's no direct control of party members and the difficulty is automatically set at Hard so it may take a while to adjust to how the tactics work. Also, there's no compendium and no Social Links to give fused personas extra experience.

Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the apparently few people who actually enjoys the Answer, but you really have to be prepared for the grinding and the randomness of AI behavior or you might find it frustrating.

^ Yup.

If you're going to play The Answer, make sure you're prepared, both mentally and time wise because you'll have to do a lot of grinding. The Fusion Tables are different (I think.) from my experience so you may have to look at a guide.

I also want to tell you that the word "Evade" will be your most hated word in the English language. There's a reason why it was called "FES". No, it's not short for FEStival or F'in Even Sexier, NO! it's "Freakin' Evade Skills".

Nah. I'm just messing with you, it IS short for FEStival. But seriously, The Answer, if you dawdle and BS around, the image of Aigis' lifeless body will be forever etched in your mind... forever. Just take your time, make a sacrifice to the Persona RNG gods every day, and memorize enemy weaknesses, you should be okay.

On the plus side, a slightly better version of Mass Destruction and new win poses! I still prefer Aigis' classic win pose when she has her Hand guns equipped though.

Tip: Once you're at the right level, fuse Titania ASAP. There's a certain floor wheres monster weak to ice. Back-to-back Mediarama's with Yukari or Bufu spells will serve you well.

You really should not buy a version of FES just to play the Answer.

I certainly wouldn't recommend it, but I guess if you really wanted it $10 isn't that bad

Don't let no control of your teammates scare you though; I beat The Journey fine without controlling any of them.
