RasolisuPosted 2/1/2013 5:40:40 AM | Randomly generated isn't that bad it lets farming for items not so bad. But more uniqueness to it like D3 style randomization with traps and such, maybe with forced encounters, chance at boss level enemies, arcana based events and stuff like that.
Personally I think they should keep the same formula of S-links and such just an unique twist in the formula with the story. |

System of Gameplay-wise: ...It would be interesting to see a fresh-start in the way things work, so Yeah, I would like that. But if Atlus decides to go with the flow with P3 and P4's calendar/Social Links system, I won't hold it against them, but I'd be a little concerned. After all, you can only do so much with a Calendar when comes to main-story events.

TalikiasmiPosted 2/1/2013 9:56:04 AM | I wouldn't mind a fresh battle system or an adjustment of the basic Life Sim mechanics, but I don't really want them to change the Social Link system that much. I really like the system we have, and at some point if it ain't broke, you don't fix it.
I definitely want a new plot, however. It feels like they had their chance to wrap up the loose ends with TWO follow-up games to P4, and they chose to make it Arena and Golden instead. I honestly don't know where you can go with that cast at this point anyway; their characterization is more or less nailed down. I wouldn't mind an Elizabeth cameo or namedrop, but I don't think I could stand a straight continuation. |

j-fielding95Posted 2/1/2013 10:47:40 AM | I thought that was how Atlus rolled with Persona, as in 1 and 2 similar and released next to each other, then big gap and P3 and P4 which reinvent, then big gap and P5 and P6 which reinvent.
