I think you can handle it, it's not your typical kawaii moshi moshi desu music, the lyrics are in engrish, and most of the time don't make sense, but they're stylish as hell and ALWAYS fits the occasion. In fact, one of the stronger points of P4G is its music

Best thing I can suggest is to look at gameplay videos that showcase both the gameplay and the music that goes along with it (like a random battle video). You can hear the music, and see how it sounds alongside the action, and from there decide if it's grating, or something you can live with.
