Persona 4 Golden

couldn't really get into Persona 1, 2, and 3. should I bother with this?

so yeah I bought the first 3 on a whim last year when ppl were unloading their PSP games. can't say they really got their hooks into me. does P4 offer anything better?

4 makes some improvements over 3, but they're still very similar. If you didn't like 3 at all, then you probably won't like 4.

If you didn't like any of the previous 3 game then don't bother with 4. While it may be different and more Scooby Doo like, it's very similar to P3 in gameplay.

Hm, I will say a friend of mine who hated P3 found P4 quite enjoyable. What didn't you like about 3, specifically? There have been some gameplay improvements as well as quality of life stuff, and I think the story is better. I mean I always say give stuff a shot, but yeah.

The gameplay stays pretty much the same, it's a turn-based battles using Personas and fighting Shadows. If you played P3 on a PSP, now you have the 3D-Design outside the dungeons as well, like in the PS2 console.

I think it all boils down to the time limit. Games that give you X amount of time to get stuff done kinda make me paranoid about not playing the game perfectly if you know what I'm saying.

There is a way to make the most of what you have and I think its the charm and beauty of a persona game to have a time limit. It makes events so urgent like when you have to save people in the telly and it makes you feel like a real student juggling study, part time job, friends, romance, etc.

Get it! you wont regret it.
