It''s up to you. Once you save you can create a clear save data which carries over your previous stats, money, registered persona and max S. link items, then you can start your NG+.
If you do not want to waste your time playing it all over again just to get Normal/True/Accomplice end route just do not save after the credit roll ends.

It depends on which bad ending you got (toss Namatame in the TV, or partner up with Adachi/somehow guess the wrong killer 3 times) and where your last save before it was.

The ending I got was...
After the hospital and Nanako revives, Teddie leaves and then time fast forwards to March 21 and then I just get on a train and go home

throw namatame in gets you a bad ending.

don't throw but didn't give all correct answers is another bad ending.

fail to guess the culprit is yet another bad ending.

I havent had the option to choose. No spoiler about who it is, please.

I read up on it, I just have to choose the correct choices during the conversation in the hospital

Starting with the second choice (the first one which says the "window in the room is wide open", doesn't affect anything), go with options 3, 1, 3, 2, 3, and 2 in that order. Two days later you get the option to choose the culprit, it's very obvious when you look at the choices (even more so if you picked up on the earlier clues).
