Persona's Level

I was wondering if the persona's level affects anything after their stats are maxed out. I maxed out my Izanagi's stats at level 55, and I've been hesitant to let it level up anymore (using the emperor arcana), since the compendium seems to base the price of a persona on it's level. So, will there be any benefits to continue leveling him up?

I mean, I know it'll level up no matter what due to exp, but are there benefits to using the Emperor arcana on a persona with maxed out stats?

Difference in level is worked into the damage formula, so yes.

Not Personas. Only Yu's level is worked into the damage formula. The level of a Persona has no bearing on that, only its stats.

Oh, I see, thanks. So there is no point in registering a persona in the compendium after it's stats are all maxed out.

There is a point. Lets say you use your maxed stat persona for fusion and the one registered in the compendium is a low stat one, you could register it so everytime you re summon it, its gonna be the maxed stat one and not an inferior one. Also it is important to be careful when registering especially when you have inferior copies obtained through shuffle time and accidentally over write the registered uber persona
