Im going after Rise and im getting one hit killed in the "lights out" floor.

The one thing i hate about this game is how painfully slow leveling is.

Find the Golden Hands. If not in your current dungeon, then the previous one.

Find some gold hands (more common on rainy days.) Yosuke use Sukukaja on you and blast them with almighty attacks or pray for crits from Chie.... You will be over leveled so fast it's not funny level 99 after three more dungeons is common if you get the Hands on farm.
