Kids Times is where anyone can get on free of charge. It is meant to just be for kids. I don't see how they could expect people to not take advantage of this. --- Objection!

Maybe if they tie characters to accounts and demand your real age at the point of creation. Though someone could just make a new account and plug in a false age. Hard to detect without spending a lot of money on software that checks for real age and compares it to public records. Even then...what are they going to do, ask for your real name on top of that? Ya honestly I don't see how they hope to pull that off, so maybe the idea is making adults feel shamed for taking advantage. Or they'll just plug in times kids are more likely on, while fathers and working mothers are at work? --- Campaign for PT in US: http://oprainfall.blogspot.com/ ==> Two down, one to go. Maybe there will be severely reduced features at that time, like no chat or something. --- This signature intentionally left blank.

well here in US if it came im sure it will they could not search for real life age on records or so on with out warrent. maybe they mean if account are days old? from creation so when your account gets old enough to be beyond kids age range its blocked?. they seriusly should go the item shop route and let it be free online yet dont sell things that can only be obtained from shop. or no overpowering items.

Square Enix has officially said Kids time can be used by any age, and the restriction is you can only play 2 hours every day. Your progress is saved and you're booted off when time expires.
And who cares TC? All people can play the game now, like those who can't afford an MMO sub. I'm excited about it 'cause 2 hrs every day is plenty of time for me and it forces me to appreciate what time I get. --- So you can try to live in darkness, but you will never shake the light. -Bright Eyes PSN-ff789n10 3DS friend code-4253 3714 4356 Add me for chatz & gamzing

and there would be nothing wrong with it being abused. If anything it will be beneficial for the game. This is assuming enix has good servers for this game, if not we'll have server queues, crashes, noobs spamming...but I'm thinking WoW scale, so you shouldn't worry about this being a problem at all in this game.
Looking forward to playing this :D --- Handle: Zetro, RZetro ::: C2: 1163-0063-7578 3DS: 1118-0389-0873 ::: PSN: Zetro-X

If this game forces you to pay to play online, this is the only time I'll play the game.
Though I hope it's not from like 3-5pm because I'll never be home at that time. 5-7pm please.
Actually, that brings up an interesting question - how will this work with time zones? All of Japan is in one time zone, so it's not an issue there, but in North America there's a ton of them.
Just more reason the game should be free in the US. Or they should just let you have your 2 free hours per day whenever you want. --- http://terosclassicgaming.blogspot.com/ - Watch me beat "NES Low G Man" http://www.backloggery.com/tero - My backloggery

I'm not willing to pay online fees, but if they keep this system in the west i might actually get the game even if they don't make the online completely free.
2 hours are enough for me and i'm pretty sure this "kids time" will not be between 08:00 and 13:30. --- No More Heroes
