I just recently purchased this game on amazon. I popped it in my US Vita and it worked fine. I do not know alot about the Japanese language but I thought I could pound through it. I need some basic help on how to get at least the basics out of this game. I would like to get to the end with at least one girl. I also want some Trophies. Any info would be nice, please. Thank you very much.

The first option at night time lets you go to Dream Club. The three options that are presented to you there are:
Square: Gashapon/Trading card purchase -> Square: Gashapon, X: Back, Circle: Trading Card
X: Choose host girl
Circle: Chat with the bouncer

When you choose your host girl, you'll go into the Club, and after a brief bit of conversation, you'll be given another menu asking if you want a single drink or bottle. Square's single, circle's bottle and I've never used X. Best thing is to get a single unless you've got some crazy high alcohol tolerance (you increase that by drinking booze). After you've chosen a drink for yourself, you choose one for the host girl. Picking one of her favourites will increase her affection (I only know Haruka likes wine and vintage wine...)

You pull the right stick back to drink. Triangle while you're spending time with one of the girls brings up a menu with three options. Square->Drinks, food and karaoke. In the food menu, the banana and omlette rice bring up minigames. X->Conversation. Circle... I can't remember right now.

You can only spend a certain amount of time with the girl as indicated by the clock in the upper-right of the screen. When it runs out, she'll ask you if you want to pay for more time.

That's the very basic rundown of the Club section of the game. I'd like to go into detail about working and stuff, but I'm a little pressed for time. I know you said you don't know Japanese, but the katakana phonetic alphabet would be worth learning. It's only 48 phonetic characters, and it's used for words loaned from other languages, like wine->ワイン(wain) and beer-> ビール(biiru). The absolute minimum: はい=yes いいえ=no. If no one else has, I'll post more later.

Thank you very much. I have used this info to progress pretty far. I appreciate all the detail. This is exactly what I needed to "kick-start" my game progress. Thank you very much for your time.

To get money, you need to work at jobs during the day. They take a certain number of weeks (the lower number) and net you a certain amount of cash (the higher number). 'Mastering' jobs (as noted by the bar that fills up each time you work at a job) can net you titles (I'm not sure if these do anything; they might be for a trophy, or have something to do with relationships with the girls) and some will give you higher pay when you've mastered them. You only have 1 year of in-game time to play the game in. When you finish the game, you can start over with all your money, house items, Dream Club points, trading cards and job experience, but you'll lose all the affection you've gained with the girls (but the stars you've gained will still be on your Dream Club card).

The job icon's the one that takes the place of the Dream Club icon during the day. There's also shopping that takes a whole day per trip, or you can choose the bed icon during the day or night to pass the time to the next day or night.
