I remember getting it on Christmas and then Christmas night(around 11 or so) I remember running to my parents saying I had beat the game!(when I had only beaten Lyn's story only) |

Kyoshiro12345Posted 6/16/2012 12:58:40 PM | I was 12 yrs old back in 1990 when Dark dragon and the sword of light came out, i was living in japan at the time, was fun to come home slide that disk into my famicom, ahh, nostalgia, now i just replay FE SD every once in a while, a remake is never as good as the original |

My 20/17 hector actually ended up helping with dragon moe than Athos did (didn't know about Luna = Fire Dragon's death at the time). And first time I had a godly Matthew (out of like...at least 20 files, Matthews only been RNG screwed for me like twice). What suprises me is even tho i didn't overuse Marcus, he ended up going to the final chapter (ONLY on my first file run lol), because my first Kent got RNG screwed. --- When in doubt, C4...or sledgehammers...or other heavy blunt weapons... |

It came out the day before my birthday, and I got some Gamestop cards for my bday so I went there that day. I saw the game and thought it was Marth on the cover, and saw angels, dragons, soldiers, and thought it looked sick so I bought it not knowing anything about the series other than Marth and Roy. --- wP/RawkHawk BOWii - 3897-8674-9009 GOML |
FullmetalChildPosted 6/16/2012 3:12:00 PM | I was 13 when I played Blazing Sword.
I bought it about a month after release, and it has since become one of my favorite games ever.
On my first playthrough, I maxed out Eliwood and Ninian's support two chapters before Eliwood kills her. Had a hell of an impact for me because of that. --- Never pet a Castform on a summer day. PSN: Monkey_Man-1990 / Pokemon Black FC: 5329-0274-5211 |
mmc2679Posted 6/18/2012 3:23:07 PM | Fire Emblem (the very first one released for GBA in the USA starring Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector) Age: 18 (Ahhh...my first semester in College...how I miss the golden days) Difficulty: Easy (and still got my butt handed to me :D) --- Since I am here that means I am hopelessly lost and need your help with something (or I have nothing better to do at the moment). |

I first played fire emblem at my cousin's house for a grand total of about 14 minutes my first time. He had gotten to chp 19, it was the enemy turn, and Dolza was killed. I didn't understand what happened. Flash-forward 5 years, I find a copy of sacred stones at a Game Stop, buy it, loved it, and the rest is history (I own every fire emblem released in America, but lost my copy of shadow dragon) |
