And finally proceeding to Day 2 we have Wood. The son of Liz who always joins as a lv.10 Myrmidon. Quite the interesting case for him as his mother is magic based. The choice is to make him physical, magic or a mix. Certainly not an easy choice.

So who is the best father for Wood? Obviously this is speculation. MU is excluded as he's usually considered to be the best father in general.

For Day 1, Olivia was chosen as the best mother for Lucina, the Royal Weapon, Lightning Speed, Astra combo was too good to pass up.

I chose Vake as he gives Wood some much needed muscle. He gives Wood the highest maximum strength modifier out of all the non-MU characters, a grand whopping of +2 as well as a +2 maximum speed modifier. This might be seen as bad, but Vake as Wood's father gives him +0 maximum defense and resistance modifiers, which is better than all those -1s you see for defense.

I can definitely see why Sol could be chosen too.

How viable is a tome using Wood? It seems like Liz drags down too much of his potential as a more physical oriented class, but I've never really looked at how good he could be with magic.

He won't be good as Richt or Henry ,but his maximum stats are pretty good especially MAG that can reach 50. However, his defense growth is rather low than Richt or Henry. At least, he might be better than Liz as Priest/Battle Monk especially STR.

If you want to make him magic user, MU (MAG+ STR- or RES-) is better choice.


I prefer to keep him as Myrmidon because of SPD + SKL + LUK.

I don't actually intend to make him a MAG character. In my opinion, it's just too against his character for him to be anything other than a sword user. You can tell where my priorities lie.

Unfortunately, all of the good fathers for him I'd rather make use of in other ways.
