First off, if there ARE any genuinely chubby characters already in Fire Emblem, I apologize. I have a limited exposure to the series. But even if it has already been done, the poll is still relevant; how would you feel about a chubby character in a future Fire Emblem game?

We're not talking "stocky" or "big-boned", like Garcia.

We're not talking "chubby, if your definition of a woman is a size 0 waist".

We're talking real chubby. I searched for chubby anime characters and discovered the following:

and nobody cared about or used her

personally I could care less as long he/she has decent stats... if he/she was as useless as meg here then she gets forgotten like the dawn brigade

Oh hey, yeah, that's a chubby girl.

Was she bad? Did she have poor stats? Were her personality and eating habits jokes? That's the kinda thing I'd hope to avoid in the future.

Considering a lot of FERD players tend to hate Meg and mock her for her appearance, I can't imagine the results will be favorable towards chubby people

I would totally want one. I'm a fan of chubby anime characters, especially since it seems like 90 percent of them have pretty much the same figure.

And people didn't like Meg mostly because she had something between Myrm and Peg Knight growths, but was a knight with knight caps, so she'd ram her speed cap and have mediocre levels after that.

Meg was just a pretty poor unit. Low base stats, bad growths for a knight, surrounded by multiple better units, and in all likelihood made quickly obsolete by Brom and Gatrie.

Back a long time ago I used to say that Meg would be a bit higher in the tiers if she wasn't chubby and looked "better" but I was laughed at and called dumb because of her lack of any skill however I still stand by that she isn't the worst unit ever...

I looked her up. In the very least, it looks like she wasn't treated as a joke, nor focused on for her size within the game itself. I appreciate that. It's a shame her stats weren't good, but that's a legitimate reason to dislike a unit.

I liked Meg and used her a lot. Sure, her start is rough, but she caps certain stats really early allowing you to abuse BEXP and turn her into a monster.

Edit: As a Marshall I capped all of her stats except Magic, which is still really high, allowing me to stick Blessing on her and making her practically invincible
