Is their extra content in "Classic" mode vs "Casual"?

Or is it really there for the old schoolers that like the feeling of characters being exposed to perma-death? Like if a character dies then does a NEW character get introduced to the storyline, can it chnge the storyline is the extra content for classic mode? As a series newb,

I'm playing hard mode on casual, which is just the right challenge, I would find the game annoying if i had to restart missions because of one minor character death.

There's nothing special on Classic, Hard/Casual is just right difficulty wise for a first play.

Ok cool. I probably won't even bother with Classic, seems more like something for old school fans and this is my fire FE. Enjoy it quite a bit, but part of it is in the presentation. That said its hard to play this with Ni No Kuni spinning in my PS3. But I'm sure ill get sucked in very soon.

the game balance is pretty much broken if you play on casual, on normal and hard at least

strat doesn't really matter at all

There is.
The extra content is the entire game, because if you pick casual you'll only be pretending to play it.

Try not only having Ni No Kuni in your PS3, but also Dead Space 3 in your XBOX, Digimon Adventure in your PSP, and Pokemon Black 2 in your 3ds cartridge slot.

And Bioshock infinite is out next month, too.

That doesn't really sound any different, black 2 is old news if you don't play pokemon competitively, and the rest are bad.

lol, the real Fire Emblem is getting screwed over by a 1% critical the enemy lands that tanks your entire run of the chapter. Right. If people are worse off for picking casual to avoid THAT, then screw the elitists.

If you didn't account for that 1% crit and take steps to nullify it, then your strategy wasn't good enough. Step it up.
