Is it a bad idea for Chrom to marry my female avatar?

I don't think any pairing is bad for standard difficulty. Just try stuff out and see how it works!

I don't think so. That's what I'm planning to do on my first playthrough, and no one else can convince me otherwise.

It dosen't matter if you are playing Normal/Hard just pick who you like the most, it only really matters if you are on lunatic.

He's better than almost any other non-child suitor.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing.

From what I have gathered, no, it's not a bad idea. It's actually a good idea. The thing is, it may not be the best idea. I think there are more optimal husbands, depending on what you're looking for. But Chrom makes a great husband/father to female Avatar/their children if you're not a min/maxer.

Depends if you are magical or physical build. Chrom's child doesn't benefit as much from a magical build than a physical one.
