This is the saddest part. Lyn flips out all over the screen and stuff like that, but then crits in Awakening are so... normal.

First time Lon'Qu crit after promoting to Swordmaster I got hyped, but compared to the old stuff, it was underwhelming animation-wise.

I'd say the cut-ins and quotes more than make up for the lack of special animations.

"Don't mess with a bunny!"

quotes are cool, but I would like both. The GBA crits are so nice.
