Do Swordmasters and Berserkers get the critical hit bonus?

Like in the old games?

No.

As previously stated....No. However Fighters get the Zeal skill (Critical +5) and the Barbarian class gets Gamble.

Which sadly makes Assassins so much better than SMs...

Nope. Though you can get +5 Crit from Fighter than Gamble (-5 hit, +10 Crit) from the Barbarian. It's more feasible to do this on Berserkers than on Swordmasters.

Also Wrath.

Funny story, mages actually have one of the better crit skills now. It might not seem that way with the ally within three spaces deal but that happens more often than you'd think.

Sounds like the best way to get the most out of the Berserker class is to start them off as Fighters for Zeal, then reclass into Barbarians at level 10 for Gamble, then level them into Berserkers for Wrath.

Also, don't count Swordmasters out altogether. They still get Astra and Swordfaire and the Myrmidon class gets Vantage and Avoid+10, and they usually have enough skill to pull off plenty of crits anyway. Once you get Swordfaire or Astra though I think you're still better off reclassing your Swordmaster(s) into Assassins since the Assassins have better stat caps+Lethality and Bows.
